What you can do during your visit in Igliano?
‘Navilla is located to the heart of Deserta Langarum’s paths, which is an association of volunteers that take care of the valorization of our land. Those paths, well signaled, are like an heaven for lovers of trekking and mountain bike: about 50 km of tiny streets that winds along wood and ancient hamlets, with breath-taking panoramas, close quarters with the Alta Langa’s wild nature. Don’t forget your boots or MTB when pack your suitcases, there will be a lot of fun!
If you are lovers of good Italian cooking, Alta Langa can offer you a lot of possibility to enjoy traditional dishes, based on typical ingredients: the White truffle (the noblest tuber), the Hazelnut “tonda gentile delle Langhe”, the Toma cheese already named by ancient Latins and infinity of other natural tastes that we will let discover by yourself. Not to mention wines, from the less noble but also well-appreciated Dolcetto to the king of wines, the Barolo. Then, taking a break chatting with villagers is the occasion to understand how much nature is important for this real “people of Langa”, so much united to their own culture. They are a real source of traditional country knowledge and can give it to you with the pride of someone that lives these places for generation.
Alta Langa is full of buried treasures that we will invite to find walking by foot or by MTB: ancient little churches, small hamlet made by Langa’s stone, secular trees, fountainheads. There’s no hurry! Our land is unchained since centuries and is patiently waiting for you.

A group of “keen voluntaries” that keep clean and walkable more than 20 km of paths for trekking and MTB in Alta Langa and organize events to value our wonderful and pure land! Find out their “work”!
Since 2008, this service allows to organize visits to wine cellars of Langhe, Roero, Monferrato, Astigiano and Alessandrino and to obtains all the informations about our excellent wines, offering direct contact between tourist and wine producers!
